Interests:
My research focuses on developing theory and applications of GIS and remote sensing techniques to link landscape patterns with ecological and socioeconomic processes. Specific projects focus on applying spatial modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques to study land-use and land-cover change and its interaction with the natural environment.
